<p>Vollaard: “De marketingmanager van Jyske Bank in Denemarken inspireert me met zijn ideeën rondom beleving en packaging. Hij ontwikkelde pakketten gemaakt rondom belangrijke events in het leven, zoals trouwen. Met deze pakketten maakt hij service tastbaar. Hij creëert een omgeving waarin mensen spelenderwijs iets doen met een beleving.”</p>
<p>Slim omgaan met de informatie overload is een enorm belangrijk thema binnen de Rabobank. Vollaard: “Hoe kun je kennis bij elkaar brengen? Dat zie je heel mooi gevisualiseerd in Minority Report. Dat beeld helpt ons weer in het verkondigen van de boodschap dat we die kant op moeten gaan.”</p>

<p>De weerslag van deze interviews, aangevuld met enige deskresearch, is te lezen in de <a href="http://www.aboutcontent.nl/downloads/">white paper</a> die ik geproduceerd heb. Beschouw het als een inleiding op mobile publishing, want over elk onderdeel is natuurlijk veel meer te zeggen.</p>
<p>Tegelijkertijd bouwde <a href="http://www.momac.net/">MoMac</a> een mobiele versie van Rethinkingmedia.nl op <a href="http://m.rethinkingmedia.nl">m.rethinkingmedia.nl</a>.</p>

<p>Herwin van den Berg werkt als marketingdirecteur bij Heineken Nederland. Hij werd in 2007 uitgeroepen tot Marketeer van het Jaar, en voerde dit jaar de top 100 van beste markteers aan.<span id="more-72"></span></p>
<p>Ik interviewde hem voor Idealize in de pas geopende Heineken The City, vlakbij het Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam, over nieuwe concepten waarin consumententrends leidend zijn. “Je hebt andere mediumtypen nodig dan de traditionele om de consumenten tegenwoordig te kunnen beraken.”</p>
<p><strong>Fashion<br />
</strong>The City is een zeer bijzonder concept, met onder andere een fashion-afdeling, een kleine studio en uiteraard heel veel soorten Heineken-bier, waarvan je de etiketten zelf kunt ontwerpen. Van den Berg: “Je moet toestaan dat de consument zelf in jouw wereld stapt.”</p>
<p><strong>Kicken<br />
</strong><br />
Van den Berg vertelt ook over zijn inspiratiebronnen, en de manier waarop hij zijn visie op marketing weet te realiseren binnen de Heineken-organisatie: “Je moet durven vooruit te lopen. En je moet ook anderen laten kicken door ze complimenten te geven.”</p>

<h2>Spoil Yourself</h2>
<p>Flow draait om de thema’s ‘live mindfully’, ‘feel connected’, ‘spoil yourself’ en ‘simplify your life’. Volgens Sanoma is het blad een schot in de roos en zijn van de eerste editie 1 (november 2008) 45.789 exemplaren verkocht.</p>
<p>Flow is in veel opzichten anders dan andere bladen. De onderwerpen lopen erg uiteen, er zijn meerdere papiersoorten gebruikt en ook de totstandkoming was anders: niet een traditioneel kwantitatief onderzoek maar een online brainstorm met een groep potentiele lezers zorgde voor de noodzakelijke input.</p>
